2018/19 Call for Submission of Good Practices

Dear Members of CCRDA,

CCRDA is planning to organize the 2018/19 Charities National Good Practice Day, which is mainly intended to showcase the roles and contributions of CSOs to the national development endeavors.  This big event is expected to be attended by representatives of government offices, donor agencies, development partners and the CSO community at large. Among other assortments of events, five selected films that depict the good practices of charity organizations will be viewed on the occasion. The event also includes award ceremony for selected best practices, recognition for participation and exhibition of entries.

This announcement is, therefore, aims to invite CCRDA members to submit for competition:

1.A maximum of 5-page (in A4 size paper, 12 point font) abstract of good practices on any development interventions that you believe are worth documenting, sharing and scaling up. The text could be supplemented by photos, preview or full video   documentation of successful projects.

2.While submitting abstracts of good practices, members are expected to adhere to the following outline:

  • Innovativeness (10%) in 150 words
  • Scalability (15%) in 150 words
  • Sustainability (15%) in 150 words
  • Cost effectiveness (10%) in 150 words
  • Community attachment, networking and partnership (15%) in 150 words
  • Impact (25%) in 200 words
  • Gender sensitivity and addressing marginalized group (10%) in 150 words.
